Values

Community
Belief in building connections within and among Disability communities and with the public because no community should exist in isolation from others.

Leadership
Hold the leadership, expertise, and wisdom of people with disabilities at the core of everything the DCC does which honors the spirit of “Nothing About Us Without Us.”

Collective Access
Welcome the insights and participation of people with all types of disabilities and embrace interdependence in the pursuit of access. Respect and honor diverse experiences and share responsibility for creating access.

Social Justice
Strive to create a community and world in which all people with and without disabilities are treated with dignity and respect. Recognize that justice for people with disabilities is tied to the liberation of all people.
